So after finally meeting up with Shinyuu I came back home again feeling really odd.  Not really happy, not really satisfied, but not horrible either.  Perhaps I was just emotionally overwhelmed.  I came home for New Year's Eve to have dinner with my family.  They were also going to go out to see Happy Feet but I was just feeling too weird to, so I cleaned up from dinner and let them start off for the movie theater. Well my shinyuu still isn't talking to me, but I've still been going out as much as possible to meet up with other folks, all awesome people, I should add.  But I've been thinking a lot about relationships (of any sort) too.  My other friend brought up something she read in a book: your significant other should be not only a lover, but also your best friend if you really want things to last.  Well we talked a lot about how that poses an immediate problem for the person who is already your best friend.  What happens to that best friend when love happens your way?
